There will be even more events, including a Fancy Dress Ball on the Friday night straight after the talent quest. Worthwhile prize money, donated by the New Barbarian Magazine, will be offered for the talent quest and for the Best Costumes at the Ball. On the Saturday night there will be a big main ritual and everyone, including kids, will be welcome to be part of it. Last year's rite was one of the biggest ever held in Australia and this year's main ritual we hope will be just as great, if not better! There will also be an "all-you-can-eat" celebratory feast to follow.

The Celtic band "Súnas" was so popular last year that we have booked them to play both Friday and Saturday nights this time. Food this year will be both good value and good quality. (Vegetarians will be catered for, not just tolerated) With drinks included with all meals. Plenty of tea and coffee will be available at any time.

There will be so many workshops and talks and the entertainments will include another display battle from the Knights In Armour, Belly Dancing and there will be plenty of children's activities to keep them occupied.

The venue is an easy hour's drive from Brisbane and is well serviced by train and bus. The cabins are well appointed, clean and very comfortable, with each cabin having its own showers and toilets. The facilities for campers are also very good. There is secure parking, lovely secluded areas for those who want to get away for some quiet time, swimming and bush walks.

SunsetSeashell: Those tracks provide plenty of seculsion for any lovers/couples. Skyclad swimming in the lake is permitted.

Negotiations are well under way to have Fiona Horne as a guest at the festival. These negotiations are not final.

SunsetSeashell: Unfortunately, Fiona Horne shall not be appearing at the festival as we cannot pay her 'speakers fee'. Stay tuned to the NEWS List for further updates on any speakers.

There will be plenty of stalls selling a wide variety of things in the market area, anyone wishing to have a stall either selling things or offering services, ie massage, card readings, healing or whatever, may do so. We do not charge for stall space. However, you must pay the normal registration fee for either camping or accommodation to be eligible.

There are a lot of people from various paths, including solitaries who are part of this festival. The event is strictly non-denominational with all traditions and paths welcome. The event last year was seen as "neutral ground" and so it shall be this time.

Anyone wishing to hold rituals, workshops, give talks or even become involved in helping put the festival on will be most welcome to do so. Sure, the Barbarians have looked after the infrastructure and the mundane business side of it, but the direction, content and structure of the event is, and should be, the property of all who wish to have an input.

The prices have been increased due to the camp raising its prices and the inclusion of the G.S.T. These 'raised prices' will ensure you shall receive a quality experience. The prices include all food and drinks with your meal. Be assured, you will receive good value for your money and we have kept the festival as affordable as we can.
